Bogen, March 2024. The quick installation kit for Deceuninck’s lift and sliding doors en-sures even simpler, faster and easier installation for generous window areas and impres-sive views. Especially during renovation projects, the kit can often be the only assembly solution in tight and difficult installation situations. The quick installation kit for lift and sliding doors simplifies installation on site in particular. But it also prevents transport damage and facilitates space-saving shipment. The frame is delivered disassembled into a few parts and can be assembled quickly and easily on site. This feature really pays off in difficult installation situations and thus saves possible additional costs for transport equipment such as cranes. This is an enormous advantage for fitters who can avoid injuries while lifting the heavy finished elements. Prepared mounting parts connect the fixed sash securely and firmly to the frame and make it easier to precisely fit the doors. Installation can be completed very quickly by two fitters. The fixed sash is secured at the side with sleeve anchors, allowing it to be installed and later removed both with and without glass. Additional steel anchors in the vicinity of the centre closure increase the stability of the fixed sash and make precise fitting of the door easier. The elevated drainage directly over the threshold eliminates the risk of the drainage holes being sealed incorrectly. The lift and sliding door made by Deceuninck excels with its shallow profile depth of 175 mm, outstanding thermal insulation value of Uf = 1.3 Wm2K and glazing up to 52 mm. A large colour range with 200 colours leaves nothing to be desired. There are also easy-to-install aluminium cappings that create a classic HFL look.
